Smeana is a guide to local places built on real people's experiences. By using the site or the app you agree to these terms.
Last updated: September 2026You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time code. There are no passwords. You are responsible for your number and for everything posted from your account.
One account per person. Fake or duplicate accounts are removed along with what they posted.
Write about an experience you had yourself. Do not review a place you own or work at, or a competitor of yours.
Not allowed: insults, incitement or discrimination, personal information about anyone, advertising and links, and reviews written in exchange for money, a discount or a gift.
Photos must be your own, show the place itself, and not show people who did not agree to be in them.
Reviews that break these rules are held for a look or removed. Reviews are their authors' opinions and do not represent Smeana's view.
What you write and shoot stays yours. By posting it you allow us to show it on Smeana, in its apps and when promoting them, free of charge.
You can edit or delete your review at any time from your profile. Deleting it removes the points it earned.
Claiming a page is free and happens after we confirm you own the place or act for it.
Verification lets you edit your place's details. It gives no right to delete or change a review, and there is no way to pay for that. If a review breaks the rules, report it and we look at it like any other report.
The details you enter must be true. Misleading pages lose their verification.
Part of the guide was imported from open sources and is not confirmed yet, and every such page says so. Only the Verified mark means a team member or the owner confirmed the details.
Numbers, hours and locations change. Call before you go. Smeana is not liable for loss caused by outdated information.
Points, levels and the leaderboard are for recognition only. They have no cash value and cannot be exchanged. Gaming them resets them.
You can delete your account at any time from your profile. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
We may update these terms as the service grows. Important changes are announced on the site before they apply.
